ADEN presents Olcay Tunçel
Photo Exhibition
Olcay Tunçel is an extremely talented young photographer who has a keen eye for capturing life in Istanbul. May 3, 2003 will mark the opening for Mr. Tunçel's first solo exhibition and will include over 50 original black and white and color photographs as well as two provocative mixed media sculptures. These sculptures provide great insight into the contrasting both its triumphs and downfalls, ideals and realities.
Mr. Tunçel was born in Fatih and has been adept in using the various forms around him to create his works of art. Having received no formal photography training, Mr. Tunçel's work proves that he possesses a natural eye for capturing both the beauties and the ironies of daily life. The works on display are a great prologue to what is yet to come from a very eager, tenacious and creative young mind.
